The Messenger

Will Montgomery (Ben Foster), a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant who has returned home from Iraq, is assigned for the Army's Casualty Notification service. Montgomery is partnering together with Captain Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson), to provide notice to the families of fallen soldiers. The Sergeant has been attracted to Olivia Pitterson (Samantha Morton), to whom he's given news of her husband's passing.
