The Marriage of Maria Braun

Near the close of World War II,'' Maria marries Hermann, who's immediately sent to combat. Maria believes that Hermann is dead when the war concludes. She starts working in an undercover bar, where she meets with soldier Bill. They take up a relationship that is disrupted when Hermann yields living. During a scuffle between both men, Maria accidentally kills Bill. Hermann takes the attribute and goes into jail, whereas Maria begins a life that is hard.
