The Love of Jeanne Ney
The Reds and Whites are still fighting in the Crimea, and Jeanne finds out that the man she loves is a Bolshevik (when he kills her father). She has no money, so she goes back to Paris to work for her uncle. Soon after that, her boyfriend Andreas goes to France to get the sailors in Toulon organized. Khalibiev, who wants to seduce Jeanne, is also a thief, a traitor, and a libertine. The lovers are on the verge of tragedy because of his plans, Jeanne and Andreas's naiveté, and a lost diamond.
