The Lady Gambles

When Joan Boothe travels to Las Vegas with her husband, reporter David, she begins gambling to pass the time while he is working on a story. She becomes addicted to gambling after being encouraged by the casino manager, to the point where she "borrows" David's expense money to pursue her addiction. This eventually ends their marriage, but David continues to try to help her.
