The Girl
Director Alfred Hitchcock is revered among the greatest creative minds from cinema's history. Known for his psychological thrillers, Hitchcock's leading ladies were cool, beautiful and rather blonde. One celebrity was Tippi Hedren, an unknown fashion model given her major break when Hitchcock's wife saw on a television commercial. Taken to Universal Studios, while the manager, at the summit of his career cast her into star in his second feature Hedren was shocked, 1963's The Birds. Little did Hedren know that terrifying and ambitious since the production is to shoot, the film's element wound up originating out behind the camera.
