The Circus

Charlie, a tramp, falls in love with the circus owner's daughter and becomes a circus handyman. Unaware of the attachment of Charlie falls in love with a handsome young performer. Charlie's versatility makes him star of this show once he substitutes for an tight-wire walker. He is discharged by the business after he protects the girl away from her father's abuse, but he returns and appeals into the performer that was handsome to marry the girl. After the wedding the dad prevails upon them to rejoin the circus. Charlie is hired , once the caravan moves on, but he stays behind.
