The Chessplayer

In 1934 Diego Padilla Matches Marianne Latour, with French journalist and wins the Spanish Championship of Chess, and they fall in love. At the close of the Civil War, Marianne convinces Diego to live with their union in France, at which shortly later Diego will soon probably be accused of spying by the Nazis and imprisoned at an SS prison. In prison, Diego will take to to live in a hostile environment because of Colonel Maier's passion for boxing.
