The Assassins
At the calendar year 198 BC, Cao Cao (Chow Yun Fat), Prime Minister of the Han Dynasty, ventured to the east and defeated China's greatest warrior Lu Bu, frightening every challenging warlord over the nation. After taking the Han Emperor Cao crowns himself King of Wei. He built a Bronze Sparrow Island to symbolize his ability and rumors spread that he would replace with the Emperor. Meanwhile, young fans Mu Shun (Hiroshi Tamaki) and Ling Ju (Liu Yi-Fei) are taken out of a prison camp to a hidden grave where they spend five years together, training as assassins for a covert assignment. At the calendar year 220 BC astronomical hints predict dramatic shift. Consequently, Cao's son Cao Pi (Yau Sam-Chi) and Cao's followers advocate Cao to eventually become the new Emperor - however as yet not known opposing forces plot against him.
