The Adventures of Mark Twain

Based on Mark Twain's stories, this feature-length Claymation fantasy follows the adventures of Tom Sawyer, Becky Thatcher, and Huck Finn as they stowaway aboard Mark Twain's interplanetary balloon. Twain, disgusted with humanity, is determined to track down Halley's Comet and collide with it, thus fulfilling his "destiny." It's up to Tom, Becky, and Huck to persuade him that his assessment is incorrect and that he still has much to offer humanity that could make a difference. Their efforts aren't merely charitable; if they fail, they will suffer the same fate as Mark Twain. Along the way, they use a magical time portal to gain a comprehensive understanding of Mark Twain's philosophy, observing the "historical" events that inspired his works.
