The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo

Hikari is a little boy who is ridiculed and teased by his classmates at school because he has an unusual feature: an electricity pole sprouting out of his back. However, he is rescued by one of his classmates, Momo. Hikari expresses his gratitude by giving her a time machine, which he keeps hidden. He then starts the time machine, which sends him 25 years into the future, into a gloomy, dismal world. There, he meets members of the Shinsengumi Vampire Gang who are on the lookout for a woman named Dr. Sariba, who turns out to be Momo's future self. She tells Hikari that she has been waiting for his return from the past for a long time, and that he has a vital role to play here: he and he alone must preserve the planet.
