Spud 3: Learning to Fly

He learns one of life's most critical lessons as Spud Milton continues his awkward stagger through adolescence: When coping with women along with cretins, nothing is quite as it appears. "I am practically a man in most areas," writes Spud confidently on his sixteenth birthday. The year is 1992 andin South Africa, revolutionary change is in the air. The country could be to the bumpy road however Spud Milton is expecting for a ride as he contributes to boarding school as being a grownup citizen. He finds that his vindictive arch enemy is back to taunt him and that a garrulous Malawian has taken residence within his dormitory, along with the typical inmates and misfits. Spud's world has never looked less certain. He develops an aversion to fried bass after a shocking discovery on his grandma, wrestles constantly along with his God, and also the power of negative thinking, and tries to master Shakespeare.
