Saving Mother Robot

Taipei, overdue Dec 2012. The city is going through an unparalleled winter heat wave, with temperatures from the 30s. Eight-year-old Tiger (Antoine) resides together with his ailing mother, Cao Yi (Vivian Hsu), 36, who is fighting to pay the bills with her role as a magazine editor and reduced alimony payments from her exhusband (Tang Kuo-chung). Tiger, with a hyper active imagination and sees his mum since a run-down robot who needs a brand new version, is not too bright in the faculty and worries his art educator (Mini Yang) with the shadowy images he brings in class.
