Rookie of the Year
Henry Rowengartner, whose father was a little league baseball playerwho grew up dreaming of playing baseball. Once Henry's arm has been broken while wanting to catch a baseball in school, the limb at that arm heals too tightly, allowing Henry to throw pitches that are too fast as 10 3 mph. Henry is seen at nearby Wrigley Field by Larry"Fish" Fisher, the general director of the struggling Chicago Cubs, after Henry yells an opponent's homerun ball most of the way from the outfield bleachers back again to the catcher, plus it seems that Henry will function as the pitcher that team owner Bob Carson has been praying for.
