Rags follows the story of Charlie Prince, an orphan living with his unloving and acerbic stepfather and loathed, simple-minded step-brothers. Charlie's fantasy is to become a singer, and while he may write music and is vocally talented, he can't seem to catch a rest. Kadee Worth, on the flip side, is a global pop happening and may be the daughter of music mogul Reginald Worth. As the world knows her as a superstar, she's secretly frustrated with playing with other people's songs and wearing clothes people opt for her. Kadee wants the world see and to listen her true talent. Despite every barrier that gets chucked in their own way, once Charlie and Kadee find one , they all get the things they have been on the lookout for -- a voice, a platform, an audience along with one another.
