Old Gringo
When school educator Harriet Winslow proceeds to Mexico to show, she is intimidated by Gen. Tomas Arroyo and his revolutionaries. An aging American, Ambrose"Old Gringo" Bierce also in Mexico, befriends Gen. Arroyo and matches Harriet. Bierce is wishes to keep his identity secret so he could determine their or her own fate. Bierce attempts to excite the overall's anger whenever possible in an endeavor to get himself killed, hence avoiding suffering through his disease though he enjoys Arroyo. Winslow is fascinated by Bierce and Arroyo, and the men are in turn drawn to her. She becomes romantically involved with Arroyo. After Winslow learns of Bierce's authentic identity (a writer whose work she's loved and respected for decades ), she is singlemindedly chose to meet his dying wish. Written by E.W. DesMarais
