Oedipus Rex

In Italy, a new couple have a baby boy. The father is covetous of his child - and the scene moves into antiquity, where the child is taken to be killed. He is rescued, awarded the name Edipo (Oedipus), and mentioned by the King and Queen of Corinth as their kid. That an oracle in forms Edipo that he is destined to kill his father and wed his mother, one evening. Horrified, he flees Corinth and his presumed parents - only to get into a fight and kill an older person on the road...
