Murdered at 17
Seventeen-year-old Brooke Emerson looks good and has a lot of friends. Her classmates and even some of her best friends want to copy her looks. But even though Brooke looks like she has everything, she has never felt so lost. During a cheerleading stunt last year, she hurt her head. Since then, she's had an uncontrollable, sometimes violent, rage. As hard as she tries to keep it together, she is in danger of ruining her seemingly perfect life, no matter how hard she tries. Because Jake is so handsome and charismatic, Brooke doesn't know what to make of him until she meets him. She doesn't know what to do with herself until she meets Jake. It's tempting to get caught up in the romance, but even though she wants to, she can't help but think that something isn't right with them. Especially because she's afraid that she was the killer. Brooke has no choice but to rely on her new love, especially because she fears that she was the killer.
