Monster Beach

When two kids, Jan and her brother Dean, are sent to stay with their uncle Woody, things get a little more complicated. It should be a dream come true: a private island, great waves, and an adult who isn't stressed. What can be done better? I don't understand why this place is so empty. They're making weird noises from the beach that I don't understand. When it turns out that the locals are actually surf-crazed monsters, the terrible truth comes out. They don't like tourists, either. It won't at first. Everything changes when a greedy property developer moves in. In a split second, everyone forgets about their differences as they work together to save the strange little place they've all come to call "home."
