Ley Lines
The story complies with a trio of Japanese youths of Chinese descent that escape their semi-rural upbringing as well as relocate to Shinjuku, Tokyo, where they befriend a distressed Shanghai prostitute and also drop foul of a local crime organization. Like a number of Miike's works, the film takes a look at the underbelly of decent Japanese culture as well as the troubles of assimilation encountered by non-ethnically Japanese people in Japan.
