Lancelot of the Lake

As a result of their unsuccessful search for the Holy Grail, the Knights of the Round Table are forced to make their way back to Camelot in a far less number than before. When King Arthur notices that a split is developing between Lancelot and Mordred, he begs his knights to put their disagreements aside and make friends with one another. However, King Arthur is blissfully oblivious that Lancelot is carrying on an affair with Guinevere, his queen. While Lancelot is caught between his devotion to his king and his love for the queen, Mordred is determined to exploit Lancelot's infidelity as a weapon to bring about Lancelot's downfall.
