King of Beggars

The illiterate General of Cantonrecommends a idle, happy life style of dollars and gender. His spoiled along with illiterate son, Chan (Stephen Chow), is the faithful disciple. For a woman's love, Chan attends the national exams for Martial Arts Scholar in Peking. Chan is the winner on the exam, but he is found to have cheated upon the exam before he is to be crowned. The Emperor paragraphs Chan to be considered a beggar. Initially Chan is unable cope with his role, but with some assistance that is mystic, he takes on the position as King of the Beggars Association. Directing this motley crew into battle against an evil warlord at the entourage of the Emperor, Chan benefits esteem, also rescues the Emperor.
