1425, France In the midst of the Hundred Years' War, 8-year-old Jeannette takes after her sheep in the little village of Domremy. One day, she informs her friend Hauviette that she cannot endure witnessing the English's suffering. Madame Gervaise, a nun, tries to reason with the young girl, but Jeannette is ready to take up arms for the saving of souls and the emancipation of the Kingdom of France. She will become Joan of Arc, guided by her beliefs.
