Jade Warrior

In ancient China, thousands of years ago, a sword hero who has fallen in love fights against his fate. He wants another chance to be with the person he loves, and he gets it in a faraway place and time, in the cold north of modern-day Finland. The story of Jade Warrior takes place in ancient China, in the early Iron Age, and in Finland today. The past adds to the story in the present, slowly showing our warrior where he came from, how he got his skills, and what his fate is. The first Finnish Kung Fu movie, Jade Warrior, combines Finnish and Chinese mythologies into one movie. Jade Warrior is a tribute to the Kung Fu genre, with a unique take on the Kalevala, which is the Finnish national epic. Like Kalevala Jade Warrior is a pure melodrama.
