It All Starts Today
Taking place in a desolate mining town in northern France, the plot revolves around one man's efforts to revive his formerly thriving community. In a town devastated by unemployment, Philippe Torreton, who won a César for his performance in Capitaine Conan, plays Daniel, the headteacher of a nursery school. Daniel is a fighter who will stop at nothing to revitalize the town. Daniel chooses to take the law into his own hands when a parent who has come to pick up her children collapses on the school grounds due to alcohol addiction and social services refuse to aid. In the long term, despite the opposition of the town's residents, his efforts are not futile
