In the Electric Mist

Lt. Dave Robicheaux, a director in New Iberia, Louisiana, is trying to connect with the murder of a neighborhood hooker into New Orleans mobster Julie (Baby Feet) Balboni, who is co-producer of a Civil War film. At exactly the same period, after Elrod Sykes, the celebrity of the film, reports finding another corpse from the Atchafalaya Swamp nearby the picture series, Robicheaux starts another evaluation, presuming the corpse to be the remains of a dark person he saw being murdered 35 years before.
