In the City of Dawn

At a batting facility, Watabe (played by Goro Kishitani) happens to run into Nakanishi (played by Kyoko Fukada), one of his subordinate workers. A friendship develops, which ultimately results in a passionate love affair. Then, Watabe finds out that Nakanishi is the leading suspect in a murder case that took place 15 years ago; the crime in question was the killing of her father's ex-lover. The allotted time for filing a murder charge has almost run out in that particular case.
