I Want to Go Home
Joey Wellman, an American illustrator from Cleveland now mostly failed to remember at home, visits France with his companion Lena to go to an exhibition in Paris regarding the cartoon (bande dessinée) which features his job. He also intends to be integrated with his little girl Elsie that has been a trainee in Paris for two years, in flight from the American culture of which she sees her daddy as a typical example. Elsie is naively captivated with French literature, and is attempting to safeguard an introduction to the great college teacher Christian Gauthier, an expert on Flaubert however also a fanatic for comic books. The conference of dad and child goes badly, however Elsie is persuaded to sign up with Joey and Lena for the weekend break at the lodge of Gauthier's mommy, Isabelle. During a comic-themed pose event, every one of the personalities are made to reevaluate their present and previous relationships.
