Hurry Sundown

Subsequent to the Second World War, a northern cannery combine negotiates for purchasing a large tract of Georgia farmland. The significant part of the land was already optioned by her draft dodging husband, Henry and is owned by JulieAnn Warren. Now two plots must be also obtained by the unite - one owned by the cousin Rad McDowell of Henry with a wife and family. A man whose mother have been Julie's childhood Mammy, the other by Reeve Scott. But Rad nor Reeve is interested in selling and so they form a venture that is black and black to improve their land. Henry continues determined to push through the huge land deal, Even though infuriated by the turn of events. And if Reeve's mother Rose expires, Henry tries to convince his wife to bill Reeve convinced that bigoted Judge Purcell will rule against a Negro.
