How to Plan an Orgy in a Little Town is about a set of friends who live in the town of Beaver's Ridge--the epitome of strong and wholesomeness family values. Their life is disrupted by the home coming of Cassie Cranston (Jewel Staite), whom they slut-shamed in to exiting town when she had been a teen. Currently a big-city sexual writer, Cassie finds a chance to get revenge by writing a book about them when they ask her if she will help them plan a orgy, and returns home to handle an unwelcome reception by her former friends.
