Grabbers

Something black has come to the beaches of Erin Island, unbeknownst to the people with the fishing village perched someplace off the shore of Ireland. To begin with, a few anglers proceed missing. Then there's the rash of whale carcasses unexpectedly washing up on the shore. It's up to two mismatched cops -- a unkind alcoholic along with his new partner, a bythebook woman from the mainland -- to defend the townsfolk from the giant tentacled aliens who predate upon them, After the murders start. Their sole weapon, they find, is booze. Should they want to survive the monsters' throw, everybody might have to find very, very drunk!
