Fly Me to Polaris

A young man who is blind and deaf works as an audio tape typewriter in a hospital and has a loving and honest relationship with a gorgeous but shy nurse. When he is struck by a car, he is the sixty-billionth human to perish on Earth, and he is en route to Polaris, on his way to a more advanced form of life in Vega. Given a five-day reprieve and the opportunity to reconcile with his earthly love, he is unable to reveal his true identity behind the temporary mask he must display to her. Through a series of harrowing and miraculous occurrences, both the boy and the girl come to realize that love and good fortune always find a way to enter their life when they are not greedy and least anticipate them.
