Eyewitness

Daryll Deever is a janitor at a New York City office building and a huge fan of television news reporter Tony Sokolow. When a wealthy man is assassinated in Daryll's building, Tony arrives to cover the news, and Daryll introduces himself. Tony pursues him, believing he may have information about the crime, and claims to have it in order to continue seeing her. The killers are watching while the two of them play this game, figuring Daryll and Tony are both more knowledgeable about the crime than they are.
