Eyeborgs
Are government surveillance cameras designed to keep us safe actually murdering people? Is it a government ploy to suppress the opposition, or have our terrorist foes covertly obtained control of our security system and are now using it against us? Following another major terrorist attack, the United States initiates an intensive government surveillance program in which all cameras in the country are linked into a single, all-seeing network known as the ODIN system (for Optical Defense Intelligence Network). The system contains millions of mobile, robotic surveillance cameras known as "Eyeborgs," which monitor everyone for suspicious behavior in the interest of security, law enforcement, and keeping America safe. After a series of strange killings in which the physical evidence does not match what the video recordings indicate, a Department of Homeland Security agent becomes dubious of the system. Now he must work outside the system to discover who is truly in charge of the Eyeborgs.
