Ésimésac

Ésimésac gets the people of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton to work together on a community garden because they barely have enough food to live. By working the land together, each person will get more from it. At the same time, talk of a new railroad line brings hope that Saint-Élie-de-Caxton will be connected to the rest of the world. Riopel, a big blacksmith, starts building a railroad track and talks the townspeople out of playing in the garden so they can invest in his plan.
