Empire of Passion

A young man has an affair with an older woman, and she is not his girlfriend. The fact that her spouse is married to him causes him to be extremely jealous, and he determines that they should murder him. They strangle the spouse one night after he has had a substantial amount of sake and has retired to bed. They then dispose of his body down a well. She creates the appearance that her spouse has left for work in Tokyo in order to avoid any suspicions. For three years, the wife and her lover have been having covert encounters with one another. " People begin to spread rumors when their suspicions are too strong. She is further compounded by the fact that her husband's ghost begins to haunt her, and the police are called in to investigate her husband's disappearance.
