Elvis - That's the Way It Is

This 1970 concert documentary shows Elvis Presley in the middle of a fateful change. He is trying to get back to the top of the music world after a decade of staying away from concert stages. The King's movie career put him on hold, and the changes in rock music in the mid-1960s overshadowed him. He started his comeback two years earlier with his legendary '68 Comeback Special, which was a more stripped-down performance. Now, the Memphis legend was about to change his reputation as a performer by trying to become a headliner in Las Vegas. Looking back, this choice seems even more temporary than it did at the time.
