Eight Men Out
1919's great Chicago White Sox team is the team. The team is bitter at their own championships, and also at their pennypincher owner, Charles Comiskey. Gamblers make the most of this opportunity to offer some players to throw the string (Many of the players didn't get up to promised) But play and the amazing Shoeless Joe Jackson and Buck Weaver return at the last minute to decide to try with their best. The Sox actually return from a 3-1 deficit. 2 decades later, the reality breaks from the Sox are sued on multiple accounts. The jury finds innocent them but baseball commissioner Landis has different plans. The eight players have been frozen for life, and Buck Weaver, for the remainder of his life, strives to clear his name.
