Burlesque

The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a retired warrior and owner of this place, struggles to help keep the aging theatre confronting a variety of artistic and financial challenges. Together with the troupe members of the Lounge becoming distracted by personal problems and a hazard stemming from a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the spot from Tess, the great fortune has seemingly left the club. Meanwhile, Ali's lifetime, a girl from Iowa, is about to improve. Hired by Tess at the Lounge as a waitress, a hollow past is escaped by Ali and falls in love. Backed by new found friends amongst the crew of the theater, she manages to meet her fantasies to be on stage herself. Things take a twist when Ali voice makes her been the main attraction of this venue.
