Bound by Honor

Primarily based on poet Jimmy Santiago Baca's life adventures, the movie centers around half brothers Paco and Cruz, along with their cousin Miklo. It opens in 1972, because the three are members of an East L.A. group known as the"Vatos Locos", and the story focuses on the way the barbarous crime and the effect of narcotics alter his or her own lives. Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he makes a"home" for himself. Cruz becomes a excellent artist, however he is overcome by a heroin dependence . Paco becomes a cop and a enemy to his"carnal", Miklo.
