game champion Max Troy finds the events are being revealed in the world, while studying the first person shooter Sentinel, from world wide game developer. He soon determines that the game's protagonist is real-life Orson Creed, an ex-Sentinel employee who is being controlled by the business for reasons not known. Creed and Max must combine forces to unravel the conspiracy until the game's menacing events escalate and overwhelm the city as real and virtual worlds float.
