American Yakuza

After a year in solitary, Nick Davis is employed to operate a forklift in a warehouse in the harbor owned by Japanese Yakuza patriarch Isshin Tendo. The location is attacked by the Italian Mafia, led by Dino Campanela, and Nick rescues and saves Shuji Sawamoto, the Yakuza's representative in America. Shuji hires Nick to work for the Yakuza and becomes his family's godfather following Nick's oath to join the Yakuza. Nick, on the other hand, is a lone FBI undercover agent tasked with infiltrating the criminal organization. When the FBI discovers that Campanela is plotting a big attack on the Yakuza, Nick's boss Littman cancels the operation, deferring to the Italian Mafia the dirty job. Nick's relationship with Shuji and his goddaughter Yuko, on the other hand, compels him to assist his Japanese family.
