Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry
Ai Weiwei is well famous for great structure -- several things, subversive art that was in your face, and political activism. He has also called for increased transparency on the part of the Chinese nation. Director Alison Klayman chronicles the intricacies of Ai's life for three years, beginning with his rise to public prominence via Twitter and blog after he contested the deaths of over 5,000 students. The record continues through his widely publicized arrest in Beijing in April of 2011. As Ai prepares lots of pieces of art for major foreign displays, his activism heats up, along with his runins with China's governments are more and more ordinary.
