You Lucky Dog
Lisa Rayborn (Natasha Henstridge), a New York City fashion designer, returns to her hometown and family farm after the death of her mother. Due to the poor state of the economy, her brother Jim (Harry Hamlin) has converted the family farm from a cattle farm to a sheep farm, despite their father's (Lawrence Dane) objections. Lisa decides to stay and help on the farm to help out. She adopts a border collie from an animal shelter and trains it as a sheepdog, naming the dog Lucky. Jim and Lisa decide to enter Lucky in a sheep herding competition, but when a severe thunderstorm causes a forest fire, Lucky assists in the rescue of trapped children and their transport to safety. While doing so, Lucky's leg is burned, and it appears that she will be unable to compete.
