Turu, the Wacky Hen narrates the story of a creature who becomes the target of scorn for the rest of the henhouse due to her unique appearance. Isabel, an ex-music teacher who chooses her because she is so unique, is unafraid of her wiry legs and featherless back. Turuleca does not lay eggs because her hidden talent is another: she talks, sings, and dances with abandon. Turu, the Wacky Hen is a full-color, animated party that invites us to move our bodies to its musical numbers, forcing us to sing verses that have the power to transform us back into children, if only for a short time.
