Twins Mia and Mackie Castillo, 14 years old, have been dancers since they could walk. Their favorite thing to do started when they were three years old. Even though they dance in distinct styles, they stick together throughout competitions and practices. Mackie is a jazz fan, while Mia is a tap fan. Each of the twins form their own dance teams to compete for the chance to dance in the next music video their favorite pop star is making. They ask their friends and family for help getting votes on a website. The best dancer in the competition (who also knows it) is Avery, their archrival and next-door neighbor, and she is using her charm and connections to get an advantage in the competition.
