The Man Who Fell to Earth
Thomas Jerome Newton is an alien who has come in search of water to Earth to rescue his home planet. Developed by lawyer Oliver Farnsworth, Thomas uses his knowledge of technology to make profitable inventions. Thomas begins to fall deeply in love, and matches Mary-Lou, a hotel clerk while developing a process to transfer water. As he is about to leave Earth, Thomas is supervised by the U.S. government, and his own whole plan is jeopardized.
