The Man in the Buick
Mr. Jo, often known as "the man with the Buick," is beloved in the small village of Honfleur. In reality, he is a shady trafficker with a desire to forget his past, and he is now limited to smuggling rubies under the guise of a charity that provides Swiss vacations for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Mr. Jo is in love with a beautiful widow, and in order to marry her, he is willing to participate in a robbery once more. And "the man with the Buick," who appeared to be so honorable, will shock the residents of Honfleur when Inspector Menard uncovers his secret activities.
