Based on the story by Antoine deSaint-Exupery, this bewitching musical fable begins being an pilot (Richard Kiley) creates a forced landing the bare Sahara Desert. He's befriended by a"little" prince by Earth Asteroid B-612. From the pilot learns of their boy's foundation and journeys by which he met with a King, a businessman, an historian, and an overall broad. It's not before he comes to Earth that the Little Prince learns the keys of the need for life out of a Fox (Gene Wilder), a Snake (Bob Fosse), and also the pilot.
