Daikichi, aged 70, lives on a small island. He lives with his cat Tama since his wife died. Daikichi grew up on the little island, where he spends time with Iwao and his cat Tama. Daikichi has a kid in Tokyo, Tsuyoshi. Tsuyoshi is worried about his father living alone on the island, but Daikichi is happy. Daikichi worries about his health after the death of a close friend.
