The Beast And The Beauty
The Beast and the Beauty (Yasuwa minyeo) is a South Korean romantic comedy film released in 2005. It stars Dong-gun (Ryu Seung-beom), a voice actor, whose blind girlfriend Hae-ju (Shin Min-a) undergoes surgery to regain her sight. After lying to Hae-ju about his appearance, the beastly Dong-gun decides to go to extreme lengths to change his appearance, promising Hae-ju that he will return soon. Meanwhile, Hae-ju runs into Joon-ha (Kim Kang-woo), Dong-high gun's school friend whose appearance is similar to how Dong-gun described himself to Hae-ju, and misidentifies him as Dong-gun. The comedy ensues, and Dong-gun finds himself struggling to keep the love of the woman he adores.
